Dr. Hong Seok Jeong, DVM
Dr. Hong Seok Jeong grew up in Malaysia and earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Seoul National University in 2016. His calling began in high school, when he found a weak, crying stray kitten on his way to class and returned afterward to seek help, only to discover the kitten had passed away. Though he spoke several languages, that experience taught him that some of the most important voices need someone to speak for them—and inspired him to become a veterinarian. With special interests in internal medicine and dentistry, Dr. Jeong founded Unity Animal Hospital to build lasting relationships with pets and their families through honest communication and compassionate, thoughtful care. He speaks English and Korean, conversational Mandarin, and basic conversational Malay. Outside the hospital, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their two dogs, Autumn and Bong Soon, playing badminton, and watching soccer.
